Motivational Talks

My talks have taken me all over the country and to all types of people.

I have held seminars for hospitals, schools, city councils, corporate businesses, universities, sportsmen’s dinners and many more.

There have been many interviews, talks and articles via all variety of media, a lot that have attracted emails from all around the world.  Too many to list them all but following are a few SIGNIFICANT MEDIA EVENTS

  • A five-minute invitational talk alongside the Queensland Premier Mr Peter Beattie, at the ‘Obesity Summit’ in Queensland Parliament in 2006
  • A half page article written including photos in ‘Woman’s Day’ Magazine July 2004
  • My story aired on ABC Television’s ‘Stateline’
  • An article on my story in ‘Runner’s World’ Magazine

In my talks, I do not use notes.  My talks all come from experience and the heart.  Each talk is modified to relate to the difference in people and ages that I am targeting.  Ranging from 1 to 2 hours, my talks cover my life before my heart attack, the operation and recovery, and my running career.  This is followed by question and answer time.

What I try to achieve with my talks is to change people’s attitude towards diet and exercise. To become healthier and fitter will have an effect on the way people approach their daily life at home and at work.

To benefit the corporate sector, the healthier you are, the less sick days off work, which then benefits you as well as your employer.

Healthy body, healthy mind!
