Located 60 km north of Tenterfield in northern NSW  and just 30 km east of Stanthorpe QLD, we began using coloured horses back in 1988 for mustering cattle in mountain country.  Finding them an excellent mount for both stockwork and pleasure riding on our eastern fall property, we soon found ourselves breeding Paint Horses and purchasing our resident stallion CISCO'S BROWN STAR (PHAA#2385 [Pinto#FS4551]), a 1983 Dun 15 hh Tobero.  CISCO'S BROWN STAR is by CISCO KID (imp.USA,dec.), an impressive black overo standing over 16 hh and out of NARRAMINE TIGERESS, a black tobiano Paint mare.

Our impeccably bred Quarter Horse mares are by WAGON COOK (imp.USA,dec.).  On the bottom side of their pedigrees, they include the blood of some great Quarter horses, including Poco Peppy Doc (IIU), Easter Chex (imp.), Hollywood Cotton and Hollywood Gold.

Our quality Paint horse mares are by PEPPYS DOC BAR (imp. USA), PEPPY DELL and WAGON COOK  (imp.dec.).  The Peppys Doc Bar mares include our National and State Halter Champion, PINK CADILLAC, her magnificent daughter by Wagon Cook and her stunning full sister.

Over the years, we have been sending "Star's" brilliantly patterned and coloured progeny to locations throughout Australia, (including Tasmania), to purchasers who continue to report their delight with regard to the friendly temperament and exceptional trainability of Ciscos Brown Star's progeny.  Success at halter, in performance work and events, and at stud, both as broodmares and stud sires has also been a feature of feedback about Star's sons and daughters.
