1. Firstly, you will need to download WS_FTP.

2. Once you have installed it, dial into ACENET and open the program. You will see a screen like the one below. ( Click on the image below to view the larger image )

3. In the "Profile Name:" and in the "Host Name/Address:" boxes, type in:   ftp.home.acenet.net.au

4. In the "User ID:" box type in your ACENET email name, for example, if your email address is "fnurk@acenet.net.au ", your email name is "fnurk".

5. In the "Password:" box type in your usual ACENET login password.

6. LEAVE ALL OTHER BOXES BLANK.

7. Click on "OK" and you will be automatically connected to the directory for your personal web pages on our server.( Click on the image below to view the larger image )

8. You will see a screen like the one above. The left hand side shows the files and directories on your local drive/s. The one on the left, is your directory on our server.

9. Highlight the files you want to upload and press the button with the right-arrow on it (-->). This will then upload the selected files to your directory on our server. Simple as that!
*NOTE: Your main page should be named "index.htm" or "default.htm". This will allow browsers to find your main page automatically.

10. When you have finished, click on "Close" to disconnect from the Home Page Server.

Your personal web page address is set to the first part of your email address. For example, if your email address is "fnurk@acenet.net.au" then your home page address will be "http://www.home.acenet.net.au/fnurk/.
